    Thesis Topic:

    Market Study to analyze the factors that influenced advertisement investment shift from print to internet and conclusively to suggest solutions for print to help reverse the phenomenon.

  2. Tao Wang, "Advertisement Responsibility for Different Media Publishing Channels"

    Background: We perceive the printing quality as one very important aspect among the responsibility of advertisement. Based on this, we have also indentified two determinants of printing quality as the stability of the dot gain and print density.

    Aim: To investigate the printing quality of presses from the group of NAHP, evaluate the overall printing quality of the Nordic presses, and come up with useful data to the presses involved in our research.

NAHP HANDS-ON PRINTING

SOS for heatset printers

NAHP has launched a troubleshooting guide for heatset printers. The special features with the NAHP guide, which differs it from other guides, are:

  • The problems are described from the printer's view, i.e. as the printer sees them.
  • It will be available in the printer's local language; presently there are English, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish, Finnish and Estonian versions.
  • Only causes that can be solved by the printer are included.
  • The guide has been field tested by printers and will be updated every second year according to reactions and reports from our members.

First and foremost, it is condensed, easy to read and easy to use: Choose between Print quality problem or Runability problem - then search the flap which best describes the problem you face - read the hints what to look for - find the cause for the problem and fix it.

New printing members will get two copies per heatset press in local language + two copies for the management, one local and one English. New associated members will get two English copies free of charge. Extra copies can be ordered at a cost of 85 EUR plus postage. Please contact NAHP secretary Anders Bovin, anders@bovin.se
